My group study epigenetics and gene regulation by combining computational models and single cell genomics approaches. We work toward modeling together multiple epigenetic scales and mechanisms, ranging from single bases through enhancer loci, topological domains, chromosomes and entire nuclei. We wish to understand how these mechanisms define and maintain cellular identities in complex cell populations within normal and cancer tissues.
