Our lab studies the mechanisms by which cells and organisms respond to genetic change. Much of the current effort in the lab is directed toward definition and understanding of the repertoires of molecular recognition factors (small RNAs and immune receptors) as organisms respond (beneficially or pathologically) to developmental shifts and natural infectious challenges.
