The dynamic cell structures highly depend on allosteric machines that interact with cytoskeleton tracks and cargoes to cooperatively generate directional force. These molecular motors play key roles in almost all major events of a cell life. Our goal is to obtain a mechanistic molecular understanding of how force is produced by these motors and to provide insights on how they are recruited for specific functions in a timely manner in cells.
