Our lab investigates the dynamics and regulation of adaptive immune responses during acute and chronic viral infections or exposure to self-antigens. Activated T or B cells generate diverse progeny pertaining to their effector functions, longevity, tissue distribution and metabolic profiles. We aim to understand how this diversity is generated and how immune responses are differentially regulated during viral infections or self-antigen exposure.
