My lab is interested in the generation of biological form. We aim to better understand the evolution of eukaryotic cell organisation, and to determine how animal cells regulate their form during progression through the cell cycle, both when isolated and when growing in the context of a monolayer epithelium. Finally, we study how cell shape control aids tissue morphogenesis and how these processes go awry during cancer.
