I have been investigating the comparative aspects of the major evolutionary transitions, from the evolution of molecular replicators to the origin of the human natural language faculty. Works include replicator theory, evolution of protocells and the genetic code, eukaryotic origins, appearance of multicellular organization, origins of language, evolution and learning, and open-ended evolution.
