My group is interested in understanding how cancer spreads through the body and how heterogeneous tumour microenvironments modulate the behaviour of cancer cells. To tackle these problems we use a range of techniques spanning computational modelling, conventional molecular and cell biology, organotypic cultures, intravital imaging of tumour models and primary culture of patient-derived tissue.
