Our lab is interested in the molecular mechanisms controlling stem cell maintenance, lineage commitment and differentiation in self-renewing systems (such as the hematopoietic system, the skin and the gut) and cancer. Using mouse genetics we study the role of evolutionarily conserved signaling pathways under physiological and pathological situations to get a better understanding of their role in cancer.
