My group operates right at the interface between structural and molecular cell biology, using the latest methodologies from both fields to study the structure and the dynamics of molecular machines involved in the assembly and the function of motile and primary cilia. Our ultimate goal is to understand the underlying molecular mechanisms of ciliary functions and their dysfunctions in ciliopathies.
