Neural systems dynamics, computation and evolution

My lab is interested in neural computation, dynamics of neuronal circuits, sleep, pattern matching (camouflage) and brain evolution. We work on a variety of animal models, and focus these days on reptilian and cephalopod nervous systems, using molecular (sc RNAseq), electrophysiological, optical, behavioral and computational approaches.
