My research program is composed of several complementary aspects for studying the dynamics of the genomic landscape of evolution: (1) understanding the genomic landscape of species and population divergence; (2) understanding what drives sex chromosome differentiation and the molecular evolutionary consequences of heteromorphic sex chromosomes; and (3) understanding how life history governs lineage-specific variation in adaptive evolution and base composition.
