Our lab uses Drosophila as a model system to study neuronal development, function, and maintenance. To enable and accelerate this research, we have developed many technologies and resources. We currently study mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases in flies. We also participate in the diagnosis and repurposing of drugs for rare neurological diseases.
