Our research focuses on the long-term adaptation of plants to stressful environments and how this is regulated by epigenetic and chromatin-regulatory processes. In particular, my lab studies the question how plants store information on a past heat stress exposure in order to be better prepared for a future stress incident. To study these questions, we employ genetic, genomic and molecular approaches.
