The goal of our team is to understand the cellular mechanisms responsible for the development, stability, and plasticity of neuronal morphology, which is the physical scaffold for higher brain processes. We are particularly interested in the role of mTOR kinase in these processes. In this context, we are searching for novel mTOR substrates that contribute to diseases with hyperactive mTOR.
