My lab examines how cells manipulate their membranes, organelles and cytoskeleton as they progress through the division process. We pay particular attention to a membrane remodelling machinery called ESCRT-III and take cell biological, biochemical and advanced imaging approaches to understand how this complex regulates both cytokinesis and nuclear envelope regeneration during mitotic exit.
