Developing inhibitors of Hepatitis C virus enzymes

The last activities of my group before my retirement from the University of Braunschweig in 2011 covered the successful development of inhibitors for Hepatitis C virus proteases via a combination of combinatorial biology (own methods development) and protein crystallography. Other activities; writing on the history of science, particularly biotechnology, evolution and molecular biology.
