Hippocampus: spatial navigation and memory

Our lab studies the role of the rodent hippocampal formation in spatial navigation and memory. We also study the amygdala in the context of short term memory for ethologically significant events. We provide physiological and behavioural testing paradigms for the study of the role of toxic molecules in dementia.
