Centriole and centrosome function in Drosophila

My group is interested in understanding how centrioles, centrosomes and cilia function at the molecular level and how the dysfunction of these organelles is linked to human disease. We primarily use Drosophila as a model system, taking particular advantage of the ability to image several types of living Drosophila cells at high spatial and temporal resolution.
