The multifaceted mismatch repair

In the past, we have been studying the role of mismatch repair (MMR) in improving replication fidelity. Our current work focuses on role(s) of MMR in other pathways of DNA metabolism, ranging from DNA damage signaling, through interstrand cross-link repair to somatic hypermutation and class switch recombination. We are also studying the molecular mechanism(s) of DNA demethylation.
