We use C. elegans to study chromatin regulation and transcriptional control in development. Our research is focused in several areas, including the how chromatin is regulated in developmental decisions, functions and interactions between enhancers, promoters, and non-coding transcription, functions for conserved chromatin regulators implicated in human disease, and the organization of the genome into active and inactive domains.
