Our team studies the robustness and evolution of the intercellular signaling network underlying vulva development in C. elegans and other Caenorhabditis species, using quantitative experimental and modeling approaches. Our other focus is the study of Caenorhabditis natural populations, especially of their habitat, population structure and host-pathogen (Caenorhabditis-virus) co-evolution.
