My laboratory studies the basic biological mechanisms by which chromatin complexes and transcriptional regulators coordinate cell fate decisions in normal development and cancer. Areas of interest include understanding the molecular mechanisms that (i) initiate cancer, (ii) sustain malignant stem cells, and (iii) enable therapeutic resistance. Our aim is to use these insights to develop novel therapies that can transition into the clinic.
