I study the structure, biology and therapeutic potential of neurotrophic factors. I investigate the structure of GDNF in the complex with its receptors and the biology of GDNF and its binding receptor GFRa1. We have identified a novel neurotrophic factor CDNF and we search for its receptor and investigate its biology and therapeutic effects.
