Our mission is to study how hypoxia, metabolic competition, and nutrient deprivation and availability, modulate the cellular composition and function within the tumor-microenvironment (TME). Focusing on cross-talks and molecular interplays within the TME, we aim to re-shape the immune system, blood vessels, and lymphatics. Starting from cancer, we extend our results to several inflammatory disorders (muscle and heart diseases, infections, etc.)
