The study of human immunology has historically relied on profiling blood. My lab aims to study human tissue immunity, in both lymphoid and non-lymphoid organs. We use human tissues and model organisms, applying single-cell genomics and advanced imaging to understand how organ-specific environmental cues shape local immune responses in health and disease, and the relationship between immune networks in different organs.
