We explore how steroid hormones modulate chromatin structure and gene expression. Gene regulation requires the activation of kinases, histone modifying and ATP-dependent enzymes that remodel target nucleosomes within selective TADs using ATP generated in the nucleus by NUDIX5. Our aim is to integrate the signalling network with the changes in chromatin topology and the transcriptional response to generate a multidimensional network.
