Our lab studies the cellular and molecular mechanisms that control organ patterning and tissue quality during development, homeostasis and regeneration in the mouse model. We have a strong focus on cell competition in tissue quality control and organ regeneration. Our wider scope is understanding how organ assembly and regeneration emerges from individual cell behaviors, aspects that we study in two model organs: the heart and the limb.
