Our lab aims to provide in-depth insight into the functional signaling networks that regulate mouse and human hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs), while also pioneering therapeutic avenues for nutritional and hematological diseases. Specifically, we aim to delineate how HSCs are metabolically and epigenetically regulated by distinct dietary habits, and whether dormant HSCs exist in humans and what the biological role of the state of dormancy is.
