My group investigates how disruption of epigenetic control promotes tumor initiation and evolution across cancers types. By dissecting how epigenetics cooperate with genetics and environmental cues in defining cancer cell behaviour, we seek to uncover broadly-relevant disease mechanisms and associated vulnerabilities. A particular focus is system-level alterations that remodel the network of epigenetic regulators in malignant cells.
