Using molecular biology and molecular genetics approaches and the mouse as a model, we investigate how nuclear receptors (NRs) control gene expression and signal transduction at the cellular and organismal levels under physiological and pathophysiological conditions. How NRs are involved in the control of peripheral circadian clocks by the central clock under normal and altered environmental conditions is at the heart of our projects.
