Single-cell genomics to decipher gene regulation

My group focuses on using single-cell genomics to better understand the regulation of gene expression and transcriptional dynamics in mammalian cells, with recent focus on allelic expression and transcriptional burst kinetics. The long-term aim is to decipher the regulatory logic within enhancer and promoter sequences to infer cell and development-stage specific gene expression that can interpret genetic variation and enable synthetic biology.
