We are using 1-and 3-pHis specific mAbs to study histidine phosphorylation of proteins and identify new pHis-containing proteins, and to investigate possible roles for histidine phosphorylation in cancer. We are investigating crosstalk between stromal cells and tumor cells in the pancreatic TME, focusing on cytokines, such as LIF and OSM, secreted by cancer-associated fibroblasts and myeloid cells that may be important for tumor progression
