Function and connectivity of neuronal circuits

The goal of our lab is to understand how the brain uses the activity of individual and collections of neurons to encode internal and external information. We use a top-down, multi-disciplinary approach utilizing methods ranging from molecular genetics to physiology and behaviour that permit us to dissect fundamental questions relating to the structure and function of cortical neuronal networks.
