Our lab broad interest lies in tackling challenging and interesting biological problems in particular at the membrane interface. Some of the biological systems we study include intramembrane proteases, the mechanism of peptide/antibiotic resistance in bacteria, membrane receptors and junctions, and microbial enzymes with biotechnological potential. We use a number of biochemical and biophysical tools with cryo-EM as the major technique.
